Kindergarten and First graders have been
busy learning computer components. Kids Pix Deluxe 3 has become a big hit
with Kindergarteners. Kids have been asking where I purchased mine, they can
be purchased at any computer software.
Second and third have been learning about how
the Computer operates and reinforcing their typing skills.
Forth grade viewed an exciting, interactive video that journeys through
computer technology, learning what's inside your computer and how it works.
Fifth and sixth are learning how to use
Microsoft programs Spreadsheet, Powerpoint, Works, and Publisher.
Assignments have included developing a family trees, newsletters, creating
crossword puzzles, and timelines.
Eight grade has been busy using Database and Publisher
applications for a research Pope brochure. The students are looking
forward to starting the simulated Georgia Stock Market Game.
