The
school has enjoyed a long tradition of excellence in fine arts, thanks to
an outstanding fine arts faculty and a talented student body. Music,
drama and visual arts are emphasized beginning in the early childhood
classes. This ongoing attention to and appreciation of the arts has
resulted in well rounded graduates of St. Mary's.
As we enter the 21st century, educators
must acknowledge that the use of technology will continue to become a more
integral part of everyone's life. St. Mary's embraces educational
technology and incorporates its use into virtually every aspect of school
life. Our campus is a fully networked facility with 4 computer
labs. Academic classes integrate computer use through multimedia
reports and presentations, internet research and other technology-related
activities using the classroom computers as well as computer labs for
Early Childhood/Primary, Intermediate and Junior High use.
Classrooms have been upgraded with new XP computers and Promethean
ActivBoards. |
