St.
Mary's offers an educational approach that benefits the whole child: mind,
body and spirit. With academic preparation for life at its core, the St.
Mary's program distinguishes itself from other schools in the community
with its emphasis on faith, worship and community service.
Christian education is a
top priority at St. Mary's. Each grade attends mass once a week, and
the entire school attends mass on the first Friday of each month and Holy
Days. First Friday masses are hosted by a different grade level with
the students performing all duties and readings during mass.
Teachers and administrators work with parents to prepare the students for
the sacraments of Eucharist, Confirmation, and Reconciliation.
Preparations include prayer services, retreats, and Christian service
projects.
Extracurricular
activities abound and students may choose from a wide variety of options.
Academic clubs and competitions, athletics, drama, chorus, and student
council are just a few of the choices available to students.
